Music maestro Ilaiyaraaja is once again collaborating with composer Yuvan Shankar Raja for director Venkat Prabhu’s upcoming film NC22 which has Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in the lead role.
The father-son duo had earlier collaborated for composing Seenu Ramasamy’s Maamanithan, which is slated to hit screens this Friday and now they are going to work together again.
Today morning we reported that Naga Chaitanya is going to romance Uppena and Shyam Singah Roy fame Krithi Shetty in this yet to be titled Telugu-Tamil movie.
The makers of the movie have officially announced that Maestro Ilaiyaraaja, and his son and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose music for the film. The makers confirmed the same by sharing a new poster on Twitter. Venkat Prabhu wrote, “A dream come true moment for me!! Joining hands with my uncle (periyappa) #isaignani @ilaiyaraaja for the first time along with my brother @thisisysr for #NC22 #VP11 (sic)“
Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under his Srinivasaa Silver Screen production banner, the regular shoot is expected to commence very soon.
On the otheride, Naga Chaitanya is making his debut in Hindi Film Industrywith Laal Singh Chaddha which has Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles. He will also be seen in web drama Dhoota.
