Liger is an upcoming Pan Indian film in which the young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda is playing the lead role. The upcoming action drama Liger marks Vijay Deverakonda’ debut in Bollywood. Now according to the latest update, Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey starrer action thriller drama Liger release has been postponed due to the second wave of coronavirus. Dharma production house confirmed the same by sharing a post on Twitter.
On 11th February the makers of Liger had released a new poster and unveiled the film’s release date. Liger was supposed to hit the theaters on 9th September 2021 in multiple languages but now the release has been postponed. The new release date of Vijay starrer film will be announced officially very soon.
The film Liger is being helmed by Puri Jaganndh and is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur and Karan Johar.
Puri Jagannadh’ directorial venture Liger is a boxing based film in which Vijay Deverakonda is playing a kickboxer and if reports are true, Arjun Reddy star will play a boxer with a stutter. World Famous Lover star took professional mixed martial arts training in Thailand and he also underwent a physical transformation.
Earlier there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Puri Jagannadh initially narrated the script to Young Tiger Jr NTR but the project never materialized.
