Virata Parvam, the Telugu film written and directed by Venu Udugula and starring Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati and Shyam SIngah Rao Sai Pallavi, is scheduled to arrive in theatres on 1st July. The period drama Virata Parvam is set in the 1990s against the backdrop of Naxalism, with Rana Daggubati playing a character called Comrade Ravanna. The film narrates the love story between Ravanna and Vennela, the character portrayed by Fidaa girl Sai Pallavi.
Sai Pallavi has apparently gone the extra mile for her upcoming film, Virata Parvam. Recently during the media interaction, the director Venu Udugula revealed an example of Sai Pallavi’ dedication. He reaved that Sai Pallavi didn’t eat for an entire day while shooting for the movie.
Venu Udugula added, “There wasa one important scene in the movie that had great prominence in the narrative. When I narrated it, Sai Pallavi understood the importance of her character and decided not to take any food for an entire day to bring out the intensity that was needed for that scene. Such is Sai Pallavi’ dedication.”
D Suresh Babu is presenting Rana Daggubati starrer and Sudhakar Cherukuri of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas is bankrolling it. The movie also has Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, Rahul Ramakrishna, Devi Prasad, Priyamani, Nanditha Das, Naveen Chandra, Sai Chand, Benarji, Nagineedu, Anand Ravi, and Anand Chakrapaniin the important roles.
