The opposition parties have denounced plans by PM Narendra Modi to inaugurate new parliament building, instead of the President Droupadi Murmu.

It seems that the opposition parties are preparing to shock Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the inauguration of the new Parliament building. It is known that the opposition is insisting that the new Parliament building should be inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu. However, it is reported that there is a plan to jointly boycott this program if Prime Minister Modi starts it. The new Parliament building will be inaugurated on 28th of this month.

Tritamool Congress and CPI leaders have already announced that they will not attend the inauguration ceremony. However, the opposition plans to announce a joint boycott of the program. For this, like-minded parties are trying to come together. It is known that a decision is likely to be taken on this matter on Wednesday. Trinamool leader, MP Derek O’Brien has already stated that the Parliament building is not just a structure, it is the foundation of the country’s democracy. He made harsh comments that this is not the Prime Minister’s own business. Also, it is known that the opposition did not attend the foundation stone laying of the building in 2020.
