 Plus Points:

·         Performance

·         Vishwak Sen

·         Presence of Venkatesh

·         Story

·         BGM

·         Cinematography

 Minus Points:

·         Second half little bit slow

Performance: Vishwak Sen plays his role very well. He carries the entire film on his shoulders.  Venkatesh Daggubati  is superb in his brief role.  He plays the role of god. Mithila Palkar is fine. She  never turned into an overbearing person. Right from the start, we see that she has feelings for Arjun Durgaraj.  Rahul Ramakrishna is also good enough in his role.

Technical: The cinematography of Ori Devuda is outstanding. The cinematography is assisted by brilliant background music and songs, composed by Leon James,  that elevate the scenes to a whole new level, especially the emotional scenes. The theme of Ori Devuda is different as it has something very novel to say. The base is a love story but the way it is conceived, credit should go to director Ashwath Marimuthu. His narration is what makes things click in this beautiful love story that is filled with humor and emotions.  The director tries to explore what might happen if two friends marry while one of them isn’t romantically attracted to the other. The first half is quite engaging with nice humor. The music, BGM, and camerawork are top-notch in the film. The comedy punch lines and dialogues of this film need a special mention.

Analysis: Overall, Ori Devuda is a breezy romantic comedy that is narrated in a beautiful manner. Top-notch performances of the lead actors, crisp narration and interesting backdrop are the main assets of this entertainer. Go for it.
