Director Parasuram is popular for delivering blockbuster movie Geetha Govindam starring Vijay Deverakonda and Kananda beauty Rashmika Mandanna. He started working in Telugu cinema in 2003 as an assistant director and assisted Puri Jagannadh and Bommarilu Bhaskar. Parasuram made his directorial debut with Yuvatha in 2008. The director is well known for helming Anjaneyulu, Solo and Geetha Govindam. After delivering Geetha Govindam, Parasuram was flooding with number of offers from top producers. However, it took more than a year for Parasuram to start his next. Few days ago, Parasuram made official announcement regarding his next upcoming film with Naga Chaitanya.
However, the moment Parasuram’ project was announced in a grand manner, he got a shock from top producer BVSN Prasad. The producer BVSN Prasad lodged a complaint against Parasuram.
BVSN Prasad said that he had paid Rs 25 Lakhs advance to Parasuram in 2008 for making a movie under his production but now he was avoiding him.
It is being heard that BVSN Prasad is seeking action against director Parasuram if he fails to return the advance plus interest which amounts to Rs 6 crs.
On the other side, Parasuram and Naga Chaitanya’ project has been launched recently with formal pooja ceremony. From the past few days, speculations are rife that this crazy combination is for the Telugu remake of Bollywood hit film Chhichhore. The shoot of Parasuram and Naga Chaitanya’ film is expected to commence from May 2020, the makers are planning to release it by the end of year 2020. Details regarding the cast and the crew of Parasuram’ directorial venture will be out very soon.
