After Ranveer Singh– Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra– Nick Jonas’s wedding, the latest rumour is that Parineeti Chopra is also planning to tie the knot very soon. Parineeti Chopra has been dating Charit Desai, an assistant director, for the past couple of years. He has been working for a while in Karan Johar’s team, and was one of the ADs on the sets of Agneepath.
Parineeti Chopra is said to be in the process of getting married to Charit Desai. Interestingly, Charit Desai also attended the pre-wedding dinner hosted by Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. He reportedly was also one of the guests at the Jodhpur wedding. He was seen standing right behind Parineeti Chopra. When Nick Jonas shared the pic on his Instagram, Parineeti Chopra and Charit Desai grabbed the attention of netizens.
Charit Desai was the assistant director of ‘Agneepath’, which was released in 2012, the movie featured Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka Chopra opposite Greek God of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan. He has also helmed Amaal Malik’s reprisal of Ghar Se Nikal Te Hi, Neha Kakkar & Himansh Kohli’s Oh Humsafar and Akhil Sachdeva’s Gal Sun.
Parineeti Chopra and Charit Desai reportedly met during the Dream Team Tour in 2016. While Parineeti Chopra was performing along with Katrina Kaif and Varun Dhawan at the event, Charit Desai had the responsibility of making the behind-the scenes videos.
On the workside, Parineeti Chopra will be next be seen in Ekta Kapoor’s romantic comedy Jabariya Jodi , directed by Prashant Singh. The movie also features Sidharth Malhotra, Ruslaan Mumtaz, Javed Jaffrey, Aparshakti Khurana, Neena Gupta, Harsh Mayar, Tanaji Galgunde, Mrinalini Tyagi and others.
Apart from Jabariya Jodi, Parineeti Chopra will also be seen in upcoming movie period war drama film Kesari. It is all about the story of Havildar Ishar Singh who participates in the Battle of Saragarhi while yearning for the respect of his estranged daughter.
