The makers of Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer Vakeel Saab have already locked the release date of the film. Vakeel Saab, which is being helmed by Venu Sriram, will be released on 14th January 2021 on the occasion of Sankranthi. Vakeel Saab, the courtroom drama is remake of Hindi superhit and national award winning movie Pink which had Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu.
Recently the makers of Vakeel Saab resume shooting with character artists and from 26th October Pawan Kalyan will join the shoot. It is being said that Pawan Kalyan has alloted 20 dates to finish all his portions of Vakeel Saab, which is jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. Pawan Kalyan is essaying the role of a lawyer which was originally played by megastar Big B.
Shruti Haasan, the daughter of Kamal Haasan and Sarika, has been roped in Vakeel Saab to play the female lead. Shruti has earlier acted in action films like ‘Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Katama Rayudu’ with Power Star Pawan Kalyan.
Vakeel Saab also has Nivetha Thomas, Anjali and Ananya in the key roles. The courtroom drama was slated to hit the screens on 15th May but the plans shattered due to the outbreak of Coronavirus and lockdown.
