It is known that Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati are working together for a film, which is remake of Malayalam drama Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Directed by Sagar Chandra, the film will see Pawan Kalyan essay the role of Bheemla Nayak. Today the makers of #PSPKRana announced that Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati starrer will be released on the occasion of Sankranthi 2022.
As the shoot of the film have resumed in Hyderabad post lockdown 2021, the cast and crew of the film are back on sets on 26th July. The makers have already wrapped up two schedules. If the reports are to be believed, Nithya Menen has been roped in to play the role of Pawan Kalyan’ wife in the movie. However, official confirmation regarding Nithya Menen’ inclusion in #PSPKRana movie is awaited.
Trivikram Srinivas is penning the dialogues and screenplay for the film. The big budget remake is helmed by Saagr K Chandra, bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments whereas it has the music by SS Thaman.
Pawan Kalyan was last seen playing the role of a lawyer in the court room drama Vakeel, which was the remake of National award winning movie Pink. Helmed by Venu Siram, the film had Shruti Haasan, Anjali, Nivetha Thomas and Ananya Nagalla in the crucial roles.
