Power Star Pawan Kalyan is most likely to star in the yet-untitled Telugu remake of recent Malayalam blockbuster Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Gabbar Singh star is said to have given his nod already. It is being heard that Venky Atluri, who is known for helming films such as Tholi Prema and Rang De, has been signed to direct Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake. Sithara Entertainments will bankroll the remake. And, the makers are in talks with Rana Daggubati to bring him on board for Pawan Kalyan starrer Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake.
It was Rana Daggubati who had shown immense interest in remaking this Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum, but the names of other actors were reported when the name of Pawan Kalyan surfaced. As per the latest report, Pawan Kalyan has been signed to play the role essayed by Biju Menon in the original. Though Rana Daggubati is yet to give his nod for PK starrer Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake but the makers are trying hard to bring him on the board.
Pawan Kalyan will be free from December to March as director Krish launched a new film. In the meantime, Gabbar Singh star wants to complete Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake.
Ayyappanum Koshiyum is story of its title characters -Ayyappan Nair and Koshy Kurian, who lock horns over an incident and their egos take them on a wild trip.
