It is official that Power Star Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback in Telugu Film Industry once again with an upcoming Telugu film, which is remake of Bollywood movie Pink in which Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan aka Big B and Taapsee Pannu played the lead roles. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Pawan Kalyan is demanding Rs 40 Cr remuneration and 25% of profits from the producers.
Pawan Kalyan starrer Pink remake will be helmed by Venu Sriram and will be jointly bankrolled by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju. Trivikram Srinivas who is very close to Pawan Kalyan is making necessary changes to the script to suit Pawan Kalyan’s image. He will also be penning dialogues for this courtroom drama. Pawan Kalyan’s remuneration for Pink remake is giving a shock to everyone.
The team is seriously working on its pre-production work and finalizing the rest of the cast and crew.
Pawan Kalyan was last seen in Trivikram Srinivas’ directorial venture ‘Agnaaytahavaasi’ and he took home Rs 25 Cr as his remuneration for this film, which was turned out commercially flop at the box office.
Sriram Venu was initially signed on for Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s film Icon but now he has been roped in for the Pink remake, Icon will have to wait. The sources say that similar to the Tamil version, Nerkonda Paarvai, the Telugu remake of Pink will have a fine balance between the social message and the commercial elements. Pawan Kalyan has given a 20-day call sheet and the film is expected to go on floors by the end of this year.
It has also come out that the makers are planning to rope Pooja Hegde in this film and if everything will go accordingly, Pooja Hegde will reprise the role of Taapsee Pannu in Pink remake and will share the screen space with Pawan Kalyan.
