Power Star Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback in Tollywood with an upcoming Telugu film, which is a remake of Bollywood movie Pink in which Bollywood Megastar Big B aka Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu played the lead roles. Pawan Kalyan starrer Pink remake will be helmed by Venu Sriram and will be jointly bankrolled by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju. The sources close to the makers, revealed that the team is working overtime to make sure that the remake will go on floors on 20th January. Pawan Kalyan will reprise the role of lawyer in this courtroom drama Pink remake. The makers will soon make an official announcement regarding the film and it’s launch dates. The Telugu version of Pink will have dialogues by filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas.
Nivetha Thomas, Anjali and Ananya Nagalla are on the board to essay the crucial roles in Pawan Kalyan starrer Pink remake.
Pink was remade in Tamil this year. Ajith Kumar reprised Amitabh Bachchan’s role from the original. The Tamil remake also had Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam and Andrea Tariang as the three girls who join forces with a lawyer as they fight a molestation case against three boys from very influential backgrounds.
Pawan Kalyan was last seen in Trivikram Srinivas’ directorial venture Agnyaathavaasi, which ended up commercially flop at the box office. Pawan Kalyan returns to acting after a hiatus of a year with Pink remake. He was occupied with his political commitments.
