Few years ago, the producer AM Ratnam announced a film titled ‘Satyagrahi’, with Power Star Pawan Kalyan.  The film had the music by AR Rahman and it was supposed to direct by Krishna Chaitanya.  But the movie never took off.  Now,  Gabbar Singh fame Pawan Kalyan recently tweeted about the film.

Pawan Kalyan took to his Twitter to share the first look poster of ‘Satyagrahi’ and said : A political film inspired by Loknayak ‘Jayaprakash Narayan’s ‘Emergency movement in the contemporary times. Did the film opening in 2003( I think) and shelved it to do it in real life. It’s more satisfying to walk the talk rather than to act it out in a film.

It is known that after a gap of three years, Pawan Kalyan  made his comeback in the acting with the movie Vakeel Saab, which was helmed by  Venu Sriram, and jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. Vakeel Saab was the remake of Hindi National award winning movie Pink. Pawan Kalyan  essayed the role of Amitabh Bachchan from the original while Anjali, Nivetha Thomas, and Ananya Nagalla  played  the crucial roles.

On the otherside, Pawan Kalyan will be seen playing the lead role in  ‘Bheemla Nayak’ and ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’.
