Power star Pawan Kalyan has joined the sets of his upcoming film, which is a remake of Bollywood movie Pink in which Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu played the lead role. Pawan Kalyan has reportedly allocated 26 days of his call sheets to his courtroom drama, the Pink remake. Pawan Kalyan wants to wrap up the entire shoot by the end of February at any cost. It is said that Pawan Kalyan will be charging a bomb of Rs 60 Crores which is over the top for the minimal dates he allocated. The sources revealed that Gabbar Singh stare will be getting Rs 50 Crores as direct remuneration and Rs 10 Crs after the business gets completed.
Pawan Kalyan who is reprising the role of Amitabh Bachchan from the original will make his screen presence in the role of a lawyer and will be seen with a thick beard in the movie. Pink remake if being bankrolled by Boney Kapoor in collaboration with Dil Raju under the banner Bayview Projects LLP in association with Sri Venkateswara Creations.
Pink is the story of three women, who are aided by a lawyer in a molestation case against three boys from influential backgrounds. Pink remake marks Pawan Kalyan’s return to the acting field after a hiatus of two years. PK was last seen in the Telugu film Agnyaathavaasi, which bombed at the box-office.
