The shooting of Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer court room drama Vakeel Saab Telugu remake of Bollywood film Pink went on the floors earlier this year, which is being helmed by Venu Sriram and jointly produced by noted producer Dil raju and Boney Kapoor. Pawan Kalyan is reprising Amitabh Bachchan’ role from the original. Amidst the covid-19 pandemic and lockdown, the team of Vakeel Saab successfully completed shooting a major portion of the film that happened in and around Hyderabad. Currently the shoot of Vakeel Saab is going on at the brisk pace without Pawan Kalyan.
Presently director Venu Sriram is canning those sequences that don’t require the presence of actor Pawan Kalyan.
The sources say that Pawan Kalyan is expected to join the sets next month, and Gabbar Singh star promised the makers that he would take no breaks till the completion of the shoot for his character. The makers are planning to wrap up the remaining portion of Pawan Kalyan in 30 days schedule once he returns to the sets.
Vakeel Saab also stars Shruti Haasan, Nivetha Thomas and Anjali in crucial roles. The Tamil version of Pink, which was released last year, starred Thala Ajith in the role of a lawyer.
Pawan Kalyan starrer Vakeel Saab was initially scheduled to be released on 15th May. But due to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown, the work couldn’t be completed as planned.
