Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan has decided to fight against the proposed uranium mining in the Nallamala forest region in the Nagarkurnool district of Telangana.   The actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan has lent his support to #SaveNallamala campaign via Twitter.

 Last night Pawan Kalyan took to his Twitter and wrote, “#SaveNallamala Earth doesn’t belong to man, man belongs to Earth. — In 1852, the United States Government inquired about buying the tribal lands for the arriving people of the United States, & Chief Seattle wrote a marvelous letter in reply.”

 Today morning Pawan Kalyan tweeted, “Forwarding the Telugu translation of a Reply given to American President 1852“ by chief Seattle when US Govt asked to buy their Lands. My wholehearted thanks to the translators.#savenallamalla.”

 Pawan Kalyan joined hands with senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao in expressing his concern over the Centre’  plan to mine uranium in Telangana’ Nallamala forest.

Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan is worried that uranium mining would generate the radon, which is a product of the radioactive decay of uranium. People who inhale this may be affected with lung cancer and kidney issues may also arise when people drink the water with uranium waste.
