Payal Rajput who was in the new headlines for her bold avatar in her recently released movie RX 100, talked about the dark side of Film Industry. Recently during the media interaction, Payal Rajput accepted that casting couch exists in entertainment industry. Payal Rajput revealed her casting couch experience and said, “After delivering successful movie RX 100, one of the producer approached me for his next upcoming film and he offered me a role but asked me to ‘compromise’. I was shocked after hearing it and said no to him.” She added, “Though I played bold role in RX 100 but it does not mean that I will ‘Compromise’ for a role. I am not shy but I can’t kiss to everyone. I didn’t come to the film industry for that.”
Payal Rajput further said, “The producers are thinking that I will compromise on her character. Whatever I have achieved in film Industry, only because of my talent not of‘compromising my character’”.
Payal Rajput started her television career in Sapnon Se Bhare Naina as Sonakshi. She also played the lead role of Siya in Aakhir Bahu Bhi Toh Beti Hee Hai, in Gustakh Dil as Ishaani and in Mahakumbh as Maya. In 2017, she entered in film Industry and made her Punjabi debut with Channa Mereya, which was a remake of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat. In 2018 Payal Rajput debuted in the Telugu film industry as the main female lead, Indu, in Rx 100, a true love story by director Ajay Bhupathi, in which she shared the screen space with Karthikeya Gummakonda. The film has turned out blockbuster and the actress is flooding with number of filmy offers.
