Payal Rajput became overnight star after delivering bold drama RX100 which was helmed by Ajay Bhupathi. Though she has acted in a few films after that, she has not been able to pull that kind of coup again. Her most of the movies went bust at the box-office. She was last seen sharing the screen space with Venkatesh Daggubati in multistarrer Venky Mama, under the direction of KS Ravindra alias Bobby. Though the movie Venky Mama was superhit at the box office but she is not getting the good projects.
However, the reports are coming that Payal Rajput has been blaming Venky Mama’s director KS Ravindra for casting her wrongly, in an older character. Payal Rajput essayed the role of a teacher in Venky Mama and was looking older to Raashi Khanna in the film. Now Payal Rajput is saying that director Bobby made her look like an aunty in the film Venky Mama, that is the main reason, she has not yet been approached by other filmmakers for any good roles opposite the young heroes.
According to Payal Rajput, romance with Venkatesh in Venky Mama was her mistake. The sources say that now Payal Rajput has hired a PR team to promote her differently.
Recently there was strong buzz in the film industry that Payal has been roped in Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’ film but the actress has refuted the rumor.
