Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth’s action-drama film Annaatthe which is directed by Siva gets an interesting title in Telugu. Rajinikanth and Siva film is titled as Peddanna. Today on the occasion of Dussehra, the makers revealed the title of Telugu version by releasing the first look poster of Rajinikanth. Coming on the poster, Rajinikanth is seen carrying a sword in his hand on Royal Enfield bike.
Lady Superstar Nayanthara is playing the love interest of Rajinikanth in this film whereas National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh is playing the actor’ sister. Siva’ directorial venture also has Meena and Khushbu in the crucial roles.
Narayandas Narang and Suresh Babu of Asian Infra Estates LLP have bagged Telugu and Tamil rights of the movie for Telugu states for the shopping price. The movie Peddanna will have a simultaneous release along with the Tamil version of the film on 4th November on the occasion of Diwali.
The first single from Annaatthe was released a couple of weeks ago. The song was crooned by late legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam.
When the song was released, Rajinikanth shared a heartfelt post to remember his association with SP Balasubrahmanyam, who has sung many hit songs for the actor.
Rajinikanth was last seen on screen in Darbar helmed by AR Murugadoss.
