Written and directed by Siva, Annaatthe, which is releasing in Telugu as Peddhanna stars kollywood superstar Rajinikanth, Nayanthara, National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh, Khushboo and Prakash Raj. Yesterday evening the makers of Peddhanna launched the trailer that went viral and it is trending No 1 with 1.5 Million views. The trailer of Peddhanna shows the brother-sister relationship. It has a doting brother (played by Rajinikanth) and a sister (essayed by Keerthy Suresh), who is highly dependent on the former. He can do anything to protect his sister but soon she leaves his house after her marriage. He leads a normal life with his family until one day, a goon (played by Jagapathi Babu) enters and disrupts their lives. He now embarks on a journey of revenge.
The much awaited big budget film is helmed by Siva and produced by Kalanithi Maran. The rural family drama also has versatile actor Prakash Raj, Khushbu, Meena, Vela Ramamoorthy, George Maryan and Kabali Vishwanath, and others in the crucial roles.
Rajinikanth and Nyanathara starrer Peddhanna is all set to open in cinemas on 4th November on the occasion of Diwali.
Few days ago, Rajinikanth was in the news headlines when he received Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the 67th National Film Awards.
