Power Star Pawan Kalyan is currently working for an upcoming film Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake which also has Rana Daggubati in the lead role. According to the latest update, the makers of Ayyappanum Koshiyum brought writer Panchal Das on the board to pen the dailogies. Though Trivikram Srinivas will write the screenplay for Pawan Kalyan starrer, Panchal Das will write the dialogues.
The story of this upcoming Telugu film is set in the backdrop of Srisailam and recently Panchal Das met with Power Star on the sets of this film, which is being helmed by Saagar Chandra and bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments. This is the first time, Pawan is working with Rana in a film.
The original Malayalam version Ayyappanum Koshiyum is the story of,Koshy Kurian and Ayyappan Nair, who lock horns over an incident. Biju Menon played the character of Ayyappan Nair whereas Prithviraj Sukumaran essayed the role of retired army havildar Koshy Kurian.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan has multiple projects coming up. He is awaiting the release of court room drama Vakeel Saab, the Telugu remake of Pink, very soon. Vakeel Saab is helmed by Venu Sriram and is jointly produced by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju. The project also stars Shruti Haasan, Nivetha Thomas, Anjali and Ananya Nagalla in crucial roles.
