Few days ago, Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV posed a series of questions to Minister Perni Nani regarding the cinema tickets pricing, to which the Minister ‘gently’ answered them in his own imitable while explaining the stance of the Andhra Pradesh Government. Perni Nani had said that he had read Ram Gopal Varma’ tweets and asked a basic doubt.
“Which basic economics says that an Rs.100 ticket can be sold for Rs.1,000 and Rs.2,000? What does the basic law say about this? What market mechanism is this called? Is it called demand and supply? Or is it called black marketing? Now according to the latest report, RGV, who engaged in a war of words with the Cinematography Minister Perni Nani on social media, is going to meet him. RGV gets a chance to discuss the ticket price issues faced by the Telugu film industry.
Yesterday evening RGV took to his Twitter and revealed that he has been invited by cinematography minister to the Amaravati Secretariat on 10th January afternoon.
Ram Gopal Varma wrote on Twitter: Happy to inform you that I have been invited by the honorable cinematography minister to the Amaravati Secretariat on January 10 th afternoon ….Thank u. perni nani Garu for your kind initiative to exchange views on the AP ticket pricing for an amicable solution.
