In India, Pfizer company launched a mobile app named Pfizer PAP India, with an aim to broaden access to Pfizer’s innovative drugs to patients. The app is designed to to ease and fast-track enrollment of Pfizer’s Patient Access Programme (PAP). The app is available on both iOS and Android platforms, is designed to support patients who would like to be a part of the company’s PAP.
Based on a valid prescription by the treating physician and the submission of other essential documents by the patient, the mobile application offers eligible patients therapy assistance. Pfizer India said, “The Pfizer PAP India app provides them a one-stop solution to meet this goal at the touch of a button.” The director and HOD department of Hametology said, “We believe that access to medicines and medication adherence determines treatment effectiveness. These are some of the most useful interventions for enhancing health outcomes. However, this is possible only through regular patient monitoring and access to innovative medicines. Through PAP app, patients can now seamlessly navigate their health journey on a single platform where they are enrolled.”
