The police sent a notice to Jana Sena leader Nagababu. According to the latest report, Nagababu received a notice from the Anantapur district police denying permission for the planned Shramadaan program that he was set to participate in. The police asked Jana Sena leader Nagababu to postpone his tour.

Janasena had called for the Shramadaan program which aims to fix the potholes on the roads across AP state. Nagababu was scheduled to participate in this program in Anantapur district. However, the authorities repaired the roads in Cheruvukatta overnight and the police denied permission for this program.

Nagababu stated that he would not cancel the tour and would attend the program as planned. He said, “ I will definitely visit the roads”. A heavy police force deployed in the same area where Nagababu’s program was to be held.

On Saturday, Nagababu participated in the Jana Sena Veera women’s meeting at Maurya Hotel and addressed. He said that if there were no alliances, the Janasena would contest in all the constituencies in the district. Nagababu said that if there were alliances, they would go ahead as per the orders of party chief Pawan Kalyan.

Nagababu made shocking comments that he would not contest in the next election. He said that he will work hard to strengthen the party. In 2009, Jana Sena got 7 percent and in 2014, 24 percent. Nagababu commented that there is a possibility of getting 40 percent votes in the upcoming elections.
