The magnum opus, which hit worldwide screens on September 30, is creating history at the box office. The movie is creating one record after another by sitting firmly on the box office throne even 25 days after its release. PS 1 has become the highest-grossing film in the US box office. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and karthi starrer Ponniyin Selvan has turned out to be a hugely profitable venture for the makers as most of the portions of Part 2 have also been completed in the allotted budget.
