Last year there was strong buzz in the film industry that Pooja Kumar is dating versatile actor Kamal Haasan. It is known news that Kamal Haasan married Vani Ganapathy in the year 1978 but they got divorced in 1988. Later, Kamal Haasan married actress Sarika after the birth of their first child Shruti Haasan.
The younger one Akshara was born in 1991 but in 2002, they filed for divorce and eventually got separated. After actress Sarika, Kamal Haasan was in a relationship with Gautami until 2006. Pooja Kumar was last seen in Kamal Haasan starrer Vishwaroopam 2, which was released in the year 2018.
Recently Pooja Kumar attended an interview and spoke about the relationship that she shares with Kamal Haasan and his family. Pooja Kumar said “I have known Kamal Haasansir and his family for a long time now. Ever since I started working with him, I have known his family – his brother who is a producer, his daughters- Shruti and Akshara, everyone. That’s how I was a part of their family functions as well.”
When Pooja Kumar was asked whether she is a part of Kamal Haasan’ project ‘Thalaivan Irukkiran’, to which she replied, “No, I’m not a part of the project Thalaivan Irukkiran’. Not as of yet, but who knows.”
