Actress Poonam Kaur recently performed a pooja at the Katas Raj temple in Pakistan. The Katas Raj temple complex surrounds a pond named Katas which is regarded as sacred by Hindus. The complex is located in the Potohar Plateau region of Pakistan’ Punjab province. Katas Raj temple is located near the town of Kallar Kahar, and are near the M2 Motorway. Poonam Kaur who is a well-known face for the Telugu audiences performed the pooja in Pakistan. This temple is considered to be one of the most divine Shiva temples across the border.
Poonam Kaur said, “I never thought, I will be able to perform Shiva Pooja across the border.” Poonam Kaur is very excited as she got a chance to perform pooja in Katas Raj temple in Pakistan.
Poonam Kaur started her filmy career with Telugu movie Mayajalam where she essayed the role of Swati Rajender, it was released in 2006. Poonam Kaur has appeared in several Telugu films as Nikki And Neeraj, in Souryam, alongside Tollywood hot chunk Gopichand and Anushka Shetty. She made her acting debut in the Tamil and Kannada film industries, with SA Chandrasekhar’s Nenjirukkum Varai and Bandhu Balaga, respectively. In Tollywood, Poonam Kaur was last seen in Next Enti? starring Milky Siren Tamannah Bhatia, Sundeep Kishan, and Navdeep, where she essayed the role of Prachiti but the movie was ended up commercially flop at the box office.
In the month of April, Poonam Kaur was in the news headlines when she had lodged a complaint with the cybercrime wing of the Hyderabad Police because of infamous #PawanLeaks . The leaked audio clips, in which Poonam Kaur was heard talking about Jana Sena Chief and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan. Poonam Kaur was heard accusing Pawan Kalyan of not just “playing with” her life but also that of “six to seven” other actresses.
