It is known that Poorna is playing a crucial role in Nandamuri Balakrishna‘s upcoming film Akhanda which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu. According to the latest report, Poorna is playing a doctor with shades of grey in the film. The sources close to the makers of Akhanda revealed, “Poorna will be seen in an interesting but brief role.
It isn’t exactly a villainous role, but something with dark shades. Boyapati Srinu has conceived her character in such a way that it packs a pleasant surprise and offers a unique experience.” Yesterday the makers of Akhanda organized the pre release event, SS Rajamouli and Allu Arjun graced the event of this film.
On this occasion, Poorna took the mike and chanted the Slogan, Jai Balayya and added, “ Thanks to Boyapati Srinu for giving me this opportunity to act in this big budget film. I am from Kerala and I have worked with a number of artists. But I never worked with such an energetic person like Balayya Garu. Balakrishna is not only my role model but he is also my Godfather.”
Helmed by Boyapati Srinu and produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy, Akhanda which has Pragya Jaiswal in the female lead, will hit the screens on 2nd December.
