Shamna Kasim is getting married. Yesterday the actress who is best known by her screen name Poorna introduced her fiancé on Instagram, when she shared photographs from their engagement. Shamna posted photos of her posing with Shanid Asif Ali, a Dubai-based businessman and captioned it: With the blessings of family stepping to my next part of life and now it’s official. As soon as Poorna shared the news, friends and fans of the actress took to the comments section of her Instagram post to congratulate the star on her engagement.
Shanid Asif Ali is the founder and CEO of JBS Group of Companies. He is based out of Dubai and runs an accounting and consulting firm. Post the nikah, it is expected that Poorna will shuttle to and from between the two countries after.
Coming on the pic, Poorna is seen clad in a baby pink organza salwar and Shanid is seen sporting a black shirt.
Poorna has mostly worked in Malayalam and Telugu films. In 2004, the actress made her acting debut with the Malayalam film Manju Poloru Penkutty. She has worked in over 50 movies in her career, so far. Her popular movies are Savarakathi Akhanda, Thalaivi, and Avunu. And she will be next seen in A Padam Paesum, Telugulo Naaku Nachchani Padham Premammayi, Pisasu 2 and Back Door.
