Shooting for Dhanush‘ next film, SIR, is going on at the brisk pace. The bilingual film is being shot as Sir in Telugu and Vaathi in Tamil. According to the latest report, ‘Dialogue King’ Sai Kumar revealed that he is playing a negative role in Dhanush starrer Sir. The versatile actor said it in a recent interview and he has not disclosed any other info about his character. It is known that recently he played a grey role in Gaalivaana web series.
The storyline of Dhanush starrer Sir, which is a social drama, features a young man at the centre of many struggles against the education mafia. The protagonist, essayed by Dhanush, will fight against the privatisation of education in the film. The upcoming film will be Dhanush’s debut in the Telugu film industry. The movie stars Samyuktha Menon as the female lead.
Written and helmed by Venky Atluri, Sir is being produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas’ Sai Soujanya. The film also stars Tanikella Bharani and Narra Srinivas in the crucial roles. The movie’s crew comprises cinematographer Dinesh Krishnan, who earlier shot movies like Thegidi, Mr.Local, Soodhu Kavvum, Sethupathi, and Maara, National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli, and the music composer GV Prakash Kumar.
