The Mumbai court has issued summons to Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel in a defamation case filed by Aditya Pancholi and his wife Zarina Wahab in 2017.
Aditya Pancholi had filed the complaint against Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel at the Andheri magistrate’s court after Manikarnika actress had alleged that she was in an abusive relationship with Pancholi when she was a newbie in Bollywood. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate S B Dighe issued two summons each against Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel with regard to the four cases filed by Aditya Pancholi and his wife Zarina Wahab.
The war between Kangana Ranaut and Aditya Pancholi was started through several interviews in 2017, in which Kangana accused Aditya Pancholi of physically assaulting her and allegedly sexually abusing her a few years ago. In response, Pancholi filed the cases against her.
Kangana Ranaut’ sister Rangoli Chandel defamed Aditya Pancholi and his wife Zarina Wahab by making allegations against them on social media.
The next date of hearing is on 26th July.
Kangana Ranaut is well known face for Telugu audiences as she has shared the screen space with Prabhas in Puri Jagannadh’ directorial venture Ek Niranjan. On the workside, she will be next seen in upcoming movie Mental Hai Khya.
