SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture Baahubali : The Beginning starring Young Rebel Star Prabhas, Rana daggubati, Ramya Krishna, Tamannah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty was a blockbuster at the box office. And it is known that the historic and war drama created history at the box office and crushed several records.
Baahubali: The Beginning put Tollywood on the international map. The film also helped Prabhas and Rana Daggubati win many international fans. Today, Baahubali: The Beginning completed 6 years, as it was released on 10th July 2015 and went on to garner over Rs 600 Cr at the box office worldwide. Prabhas is celebrating 6 years of Baahubali.
Today Saaho and Baahubali fame Prabhas took to his Instagram to share a post as his landmark film Baahubali completed six years of release today. Mirchi star also shared a photo of himself from the film in which he was seen lifting a shivalinga.
The big budget multilingual drama is bankrolled by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner, Arka Media Works. It was made on the mammoth budget of Rs 180 crore. SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture won the National Film Award for Best Special Effects and Best Feature Film. It’s sequel Baahubali: The Conclusion was arrived at the theaters on 28th April, 2017.
