When the makers of Prabhas starrer Adipurush announced that Saif Ali Khan has been confirmed as antagonist in the Om Raut directorial Adipurush and will be seen in the role of Lankesh, a section of netizens demanded Saif should be removed from the film. The people say Saif Ali Khan should not be cast in Adipurush.
While some netizens are felling that Tanhaji fame Saif Ali Khan should be removed from Adipurush because it is a historical movie and Saif doesn’t have much knowledge on Indian history, another section of people allege that Saif Ali threatened MS Dhoni fame actor Sushant Singh Rajput to leave his daughter Sara Ali Khan at a time when the two of them were allegedly in a relationship. Few alleged that Saif Ali Khan is a product of nepotism. Still others feel Baahubali star Rana Daggubati would have been a better choice.
In the wake of nepotism and Bollywood at the receiving end of criticism, fans of Young Rebel Star Prabhas are worried. Some fans demanded removal of Saif Ali Khan and they also don’t want any Khans or Kapoors and even Bhatts in this film Adipurush. Few fans are demanding to bring Rana Daggubati on the board to play the role of Lankesh- Ravana in Adipurush.
The shoot of Prabhas and Om Raut’ Adipurush will start next year and it will be released in 2022.
