It is known that on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan aka Big B gave a muhurat shot of the much-awaited Prabhas starrer science fiction drama Project K which has Deepika Padukone in the female lead role. The film, directed by Mahanati fame Nag Ashwin, is a big budget Pan India drama and it marks the debut of Deepika Padukone in Tollywood. The director Nag Ashwin is leaving no stone unturned to elevate Prabhas as a pan world star. The reports are coming that Amitabh Bachchan is playing the role of Ashwathama in Prabhas starrer Project K.
The sources say that Amitabh Bachchan’ role is inspired by Mahabharata’ character Ashwathama, son of Dronacharya. Everyone is aware that Ashwathama is immortal. The upcoming film Project K revolves around Ashwathama and his transformation over the years. As Big B was very impressed with this role, he gave green signal to Nag Ashwin.
Nag Ashwin’ film marks Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan’ first project together. On the work front, Prabhas was last seen playing the role of a palmist in Radhe Shyam. He has already wrapped up the shoot of Om Raut’s Adipurush.
On the work front, Big B is currently working with Rashmika Mandanna in Hindi film Goodbye.
