It is known news that Prabhas alias Uppalapati Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju, had approached the court alleging that the revenue authorities were interfering in his property at Raidurg Pan Maktha. His representative DVV Satyanarayana Raju said the authorities had entered the land and attempted to dispossess him without any notice. He had purchased the land in parts in 2005 and 2006 and had paid Rs 1.05 Cr for regularisation. On Thursday, the Hyderabad High Court reserved Prabhas plea after hearing the arguments of both the parties. During the case hearing, the Hyderabad court made interesting statements about Prabhas and said, “Baahubali who fought with reel life villains would not have come across villains in the real life.”
The Telangana government’s lawyer called Prabhas a land grabber. The court objected the government counsel argument for calling Prabhas as a land grabber. However, it said that notices under section 17 will be issued in the land grabbing case. The court said, ”If the verdict is given in favour of Prabhas, the same will be implemented in case of the remaining people.”
The Supreme Court order says that the 84 acres in the Raidurgam area belongs to the State Government.
In his petition, Prabhas had said that he bought the land from B Vaishnavi Reddy, Usha and Bommireddy Sashankreddy in 2005. There was no litigation over it.
On the work side, Prabhas was last seen in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali series- Baahubali :The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. After Baahubali, Prabhas joined the sets of Sujeeth Reddy’s upcoming directorial venture, the action entertainer Saaho, which is progressing at brisk pace. Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is playing the female lead whereas Neil Nitin Mukesh is essaying a villain. Apart from Saaho, Prabhas is also sharing the screen space with Pooja Hegde in upcoming untitled romantic entertainer #Prabhas20.
