Young Rebel Star Prabhas, who will been seen next in Saaho, in which he will be seen sharing the screen space with Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, is very impressed with the performance and look of Shahid Kapoor in his upcoming movie Kabir Singh, the remake of Telugu blockbuster movie Arjun Reddy in which young and talented actor Vijay Deverakonda played the lead role. Recently the makers of Kabir Singh released the teaser which grabbed several eyeballs. Kabir Singh is about a doctor, lover and rebel – the title character, which is being played by Padmaavat fame Shahid Kapoor.
The teaser was an instant hit with fans and has got over 10 million views on YouTube. Baahubali Prabhas also watched the teaser of Kabir Singh. Hairstylist Aalim Hakim said, “I was in Hyderabad during the shoot of Saaho with Prabhas, and the teaser of Kabir Singh had just launched online. Bahaubali star Prabhas checked it out and loved it. Even his team members, who have enjoyed Arjun Reddy, felt that Shahid looked brilliant. Seeing Prabhas’ reaction to the promo, I called up Shahid Kapoor and handed him the phone. The former praised him and said that Kabir Singh looks even better than the original. Both of them chatted for 7 minutes.”
In Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing the role of a doctor dealing with anger management issues and alcoholism. Kiara Advani is playing the female lead role.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga has helmed both Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh. Currently Prabhas is romancing with Shraddha Kapoor in upcoming movie Saaho. Apart from Sujeeth’ directorial venture Prabhas will also be seen in Radha Krishna Kumar’s romantic drama Jaan.
