Prabhas fell victim to the latest rumors that started doing rounds that his next upcoming film will have the shades of superhit film Geethanjali, directed by Mani Ratnam, in which King Nagarjuna played the lead role. It is heard that Prabhas will be seen as a lover boy in his next upcoming film, which will be directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and it will have 1940 backdrop.
Saakshyam and DJ fame Pooja Hegde will play the female lead. Very soon both Prabhas and Pooja Hegde will take part in a workshop. To be predominantly shot in Europe, the untitled film will be bankrolled by Gopi Krishna banner. As most of the shooting will take place in foreign locations, the producers are ready to invest mammoth budgets for Prabhas’s movie. Recently Pooja Hegde also revealed that there will be some musical sequences that the duo will be attempting for the film. .
In fact the story of Prabhas and Radha Krishna Kumar’s film is a cute romantic entertainer and the producers are investing Rs 120 Cr of budget into the film. Even Bollywood star heroes have never done love stories with that much budget. As Prabhas’s market is not only limited to Telugu States, so, the budget of movie also gets increased.
Prabhas who is popular for mass masala movies, and basking in the glory of Baahubali series (Baahubali :The Beginning and Baahubali 2:The Conclusion) wants to show his versatility by acting in a complete new age action movie like Saaho and a pure romantic film.
Currently Prabhas is working with Sujeeth Reddy for upcoming action and romantic entertainer Saaho, in which he is romancing with Shraddha Kapoor. Apart from the lead pair, Saaho has other stars like Mandira Bedi, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jachie Shroff and others in supporting roles, which is being bankrolled by UV Creations.
