The first ever Pan Indian star is none other than Rebel star Prabhas. His films, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, were the first ever Pan Indian films released. The movies were helmed by SS Rajamouli and produced by Arka media. Prabhas has 3 new releases in 6 months starting from this June.
First is Om Raut’ magnum opus Adipurush in which he is playing the role of Lord Rama and it has Kriti Sanon as the leading lady and she is essaying the role of Janaki. According to the makers, Adipurush is being made on a budget of Rs 500 crore and it will be released on 16th of June.
Then there’s Salaar which is progressing at the brisk pace under the direction of Prashanth Neel which is also made on a huge budget. Salaar which has Shruti Haasan in the female lead is releasing on the 28th of September.
Next is Project K which is made on a budget over Rs 500 crores under the direction of Nag Ashwin who is best known for helming Mahanati. The upcoming science fiction drama is one of the costliest Indian films of all time, which will be released on 12th of January, 2024.
All things combined, Prabhas is set to do over Rs 1000 crores business at worldwide box office in 6 months.
