Veteran Telugu actor Krishnam Raju passed away on 11th of September this year. Many celebs from the industry paid their last respect to Rebel star at his Hyderabad residence. As a producer Krishnam Raju bankrolled blockbusters Thandra Paparayudu, Bhaktha Kannappa, and Billa among others, under his Gopikrishna Movies banner. His last film under the banner was Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer romantic drama Radhe Shyam. Prabhas will be visiting to his native village Mogalthuru in Bhimavaram on the 28th September for Krishnam Raju’s Gari Samskaran.
On last Friday, Defence minister Rajnath Singh met Prabhas and his family members to condole with them the death of his uncle, the late actor and former Union minister UV Krishnam Raju. Rajnath Singh along with his Cabinet colleague G Kishan Reddy and BJP OBC Morcha president Dr K. Laxman visited the residence of late actor Krishnam Raju. Shyamala Devi, her three daughters- Praseedi, Prakeerthi and Pradeepthi and others were present. Later the defence minister took part in a condolence meeting for Krishnam Raju.
On the otherside, Prabhas who has number of projects – Salaar, Adipurush, Project K in pipeline, has also teamed up with Bhale Bhale Magadivoy fame director Maruthi for a yet to be titled drama.
