In fact, her role was limited to one or two songs till the first half. Boyapati choose Pragya Jaiswal as the heroine in view of the childhood fans. She did well as the wife of Murali Krishna (China Balayya) as a collector. However this was not her first choice for the film. After consulting some of the heroines, Boyapati finalized her.
Prior to the film, Boyapati had approached Kajal Agarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Payal Rajput and Katherine. Hatrick combination means that there are many expectations among the fans so Boyapati decided to take the big heroine. But they all rejected it for various reasons. With that, Pragya became the finalist.
