Versatile actor Prakash Raj has come in the support of media in casting couch row. He accepted the existence of casting couch in film Industry. Participating in a face to face and replying to a question posed by the reporter, he opened up about Telugu actress Sri Reddy and film industry row. He said, “Casting couch is common in Film Industry. The women are going through the horrors of casting couch while trying to bag roles in films. When a woman is crying. First listen to her. What is she saying instead of character assassination. Instead of questioning, who, how and why is she saying, one should look at what is she saying. What is the reality? What does she want to speak?”
Prakash Raj also talked about the rise of physical attacks on women. He said, his heart is bleeding for women and demanded the government to take immediate steps to control such type of acts against woman.
Breathing fire on Modi and BJP, Prakash Raj said the government went for demonetisation without informing the people of country and added that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured people to bring out black money in 50 days. Prakash Raj asked why the government failed to explain the details over black money even after one year of Demonetisation.
