After delivering KGF: Chapter 1 starring Yash and Srinidhi Shetty, Prashanth Neel became popular in Indian film Industry and currently he is busy in the post production work of KGF: Chapter 2, which is slated to hit the theaters in July this year. Prashanth is enjoying the best phase of his career having a couple of prestigious projects in his kitty. He is also working with Prabhas for an action drama Salaar which has Shruti Haasan in the female lead role and Kannada actor Madhu Guruswamy as the antagonist.
Currently Prashanth Neel is one of the busiest filmmakers in South Indian cinema and a number of top stars are willing to work with him. Recently during the media interaction, Prashanth Neel talked about working with top stars like Prabhas and Young Tiger Jr NTR for his upcoming projects, to which the director replied, “I don’t pick top stars for my films. They are the ones who give me the opportunity to team up with them.”
KGF fame Prashanth Neel added, “The movies that I plan to mount on a large scale are conceptualizing because these star heroes are on-board.”
It is known that Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’ film Salaar is an action thriller. The shoot of this movie started on 29th January, 2021, near the coal mines of the Godavarikhani, Telangana. And it is being made on the lavish budget of Rs 150 Cr.
