It is known that Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is pregnant and she is expecting her first baby this year. She made headlines a few weeks back as she announced her pregnancy with husband Anand Ahuja. Now, the pregnant actress has made news once again but for sad reasons. According to the latest update, Sonam Kapoor’ Delhi house was robbed and the Cash and jewellery worth Rs 2.4 cr were stolen. The incident took place on 23rd February, after which Delhi Police registered an FIR. The robbery case was kept under the wraps as it was high profile.
The robbery happened in the wee hours when the family was not at home. The actress mother-in-law was the first one to lodge a complaint at Tughlaq Road police station about the robbery at their home. Since it was a high profile case, the senior officials of Delhi Police immediately formed squads for the investigation.
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’ staff are being questioned in the investigations. Delhi Police is questioning 25 employees besides the nine caretakers, drivers, gardeners and other employers.
The police revealed that the case has been transferred to special staff in New Delhi district and they are investigating the matter. No arrest has been made regarding the robbery.
