Mahesh Babu completed 19 years as a hero in Telugu film industry yesterday on 30th July 2018. On 30th July in 1999, Mahesh Babu’s debut film, Raja Kumarudu, was released and went on to become a big hit. It was helmed by by veteran director K Raghavendra Rao and produced by Ashwini Dutt. Bollywood actress Preity Zinta played the female lead role. Yesterday, on this occasion Peity Zinta shared the pic on his Twitter and wrote, “Can you believe it’s #19yearsForRajakumarudu … So much fun working with @urstrulyMahesh even though I had sleepless nights learning #Telugu In the end it was worth it . Preity Zinta started her career with Mani Ratnam’s directorial venture Dil Se in 1998 and Raja Kumarudu was her fourth movie. She made her Telugu debut with Jayanth C. Paranjee’s Premante Idera in 1998, which was dubbed in Hindi as Dulhan Dilwale Ki.
In January 2017, Raja Kumarudu was re-dubbed in Tamil as Ivan OruThunichalkaran and released.
Mahesh Babu has completed 24 films in his career and recently he was seen Bharat Ane Nenu, which was directed by Srimanthudu fame Koratala Siva, and the movie was hit at the box office. Mahesh Babu played the role of Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh and romanced with Bollywood beauty Kaira Advani.
Meanwhile Mahesh Babu is busy in his upcoming film, which is progressing in the direction of Vamsi Paidipally,, and jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and PVP.
