Bhagyashree entered in Bollywood with Maine Pyar Kiya in which she shared the screen space with Salman Khan and the movie was turned out blockbuster at the box office. Maine Pyar Kiya was also released in Telugu as Prema Pavuralu. The movie has become a big hit at the box-office resulting in Bhagya Sri achieving a great name and fame. Now, Bhagyashree is in the news as her husband Himalaya Dasani was arrested by cops in association with a Gambling Racket.
On Wednesday the police said that Himalaya Dasani, the husband of actress Bhagyashree, has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a gambling racket in suburban Jogeshwari.
An official from Amboli police station also said, “Himalaya Dasani, who is an actor-turned-film producer, was arrested from his residence on Tuesday. Himalaya Dasani was produced before a local court, which granted bail to him”
Himalaya Dasani is also the well known face for Hindi audiences. He too had made his debut in Bollywood opposite Bhagyashree in the 1992 film Payal. But later he quit the film industry and became a businessman. Bhagyashree too had quit cinema to tie the knot to Himalaya Dasani.
Their son Abhimanyu Dasani entered Bollywood with Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, in which he shared the screen space with Radhika Madan and was much appreciated for his performance.
