18 years old actress Priya Prakash Varrier, who won millions of hearts by her ‘wink’ in the song ‘Manikya Malaraya Poovi’ in the yet to be released Malayalam film ‘ Oru Adaar Love ‘ is now involved in a controversy over a copyright row.
According to the latest buzz, Oru Adaar Love’s viral wink scene featuring Priya and Roshan Abdul Rahoof is copied from Malayalam movie Kidu starring Leona Lishoy, Anjali Aneesh Upasana, Sunil Sukhada, Sudhi Koppa, directed by Majeed Abu. According to Majeed, he has shot a scene that looked similar to wink sequence from Oru Adaar Love. Later he deleted the entire sequence from the movie.
Achu Vijayan is the editor of Kidu and Oru Adaar Love. He said, “My film’s shooting was completed on 25th November 2017 and in January first week, the editing was done.” He further said, “ The song was also shot after this. So, we are the ones who should accuse them (Oru Adaar Love filmmakers) of copying it from us. We don’t have any intentions of copying from others.”
