Priyamani has been roped in upcoming movie Virata Parvam 1992 in which Maahubali and Ghazi fame Rana Daggubati will play the lead role. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Priyamani will be seen paying a key role in this upcoming periodic entertainer Virata Parvam 1992 which has Fidaa and MCA fame Sai Pallavi in female lead. However, there’s no information about Priyamani’ character for now.

Rana Dagguabti, Priyamani and Sai Pallavi starrer Virata Parvam 1992 will be directed Venu Udugula of Needi Nadi Oke Katha fame. Rana’ father and senior producer Suresh Babu is bankrolling the film under the banner of Ramanaidu Studios.

The sources say that Rana Daggubati is very excited about this project because he is going to work with three award winning actresses Priyamani, Sai Pallavi, and Tabu. In fact, this is the first time they are going to work with each other.

Few days ago, a pic of Rana Daagubati went viral on social media in which he was seen in lean avatar. The sources say that as Virata Parvam 1992 is a period film, Rana Dagguabti was required to shed weight.

Incidentally, this is not the first time Rana Daggubati is shedding weight for a film as he has done so for the NTR biopic in which he essayed the role of currently Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Earlier Rana Daggubati had bulked up to play Bhallaladeva in the blockbuster series Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion too.

It is heard that Rana Daggubati will be playing a cop while Sai Pallavi will be seen as a Naxalite in love with the cop whereas Tabu will be seen playing social activist.

In Tollywood, Priyamani was last seen in Mana Oori Ramayanam, which was released in 2016. Currently she has multiple movies in her kitty- Nanna Prakara, Dr.56 and Sirivenella, which are in different production stages.
