A ‘p…rn’ riot broke out at the Patna railway station in Bihar on Sunday. Around 9.30 in the morning, p…rn scenes appeared on several Television screens installed at the station. A p…rn video was played on the screens for three minutes, enough time for many passengers to record it on their phones.   The clip played on the LED screens, instead of ads, at a platform at the Patna Junction Railway Station. Due to this, hundreds of passengers in the station were troubled. Some immediately complained to the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF).

The visuals shared on social media went viral and users tagged Bihar CM Nitish Kumar as well as the Railways Ministry.

However GRP police was a bit late in taking action, so RPF police entered the scene. Dutta Communications, the contract firm that installed the TVs at the railway station, was informed. It was ordered to stop the broadcast of the p….rn video immediately. A case was also registered after the railway officials complained against the company.

Dutta Communications has been blacklisted and fined by the Railway Department. Reliable sources said that the railway department has canceled the contract with that company. The Railway Department has started an independent investigation into the incident. Officials have also focused on the appearance of this video on the TVs of the 10th platform of the station.
