The final match of Pro Kabaddi League 2022 season 8 was chased out by Dabang Delhi against Patna Pirates and the Delhi became champions of the season on Friday. Delhi’s star raider Naveen Kumar (13 points) and the versatile person Vijay (14 points) scored Super 10s. Delhi’s also defeated a tough challenge from three-time champions Patna Pirates.
In the first-half, Patna Pirates were leading by 17-15 against Dabang Delhi. Both the teams fought with perseverance and they did not take a back step to give up. Marquee Patna Pirates defender Mohammedreza Chiyaneh has not given his best throughout the match. On the other hand, Sachin put his maximum efforts to grab some chances with his raids.
But the Delhi player Manjeet Chillar pushed him out all through the game. At the end of the tournament, Delhi triumphed over Patna by one point, i.e., 37-36. Likewise, Patna struggled in both the league matches against Delhi. While just 21/2 minutes were left in the game, Naveen Kumar was on the raid and he crossed his hurdles.
In the beginning of the game, Patna was in the lead by 4 points (23-19) against Delhi. After a while, the two teams faced a tie between them with 24-24. After then Delhi set on fire till the end of the game, and accomplished the league title of season 8 against Patna Pirates.
