Prashanth Neel is currently busy in his directorial venture KGF Chapter 2 in which Kannada star Yash and Srinidhi Shetty are playing the lead role. He is also helming Prabhas starrer Salaar which has Krack lady Shruti Haasan as the leading lady. Although the director Prashanth Neel enjoys stardom, but his magnum opus KGF 2 is not getting the right business deals. So eth producers of KGF 2 are coming up with a master plan to use Salaar as an offering to distributors in selling KGF : Chapter 2 for higher rates.
It is known news that Prashant Neel and Hombale Films are working for both the movie Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 2 and Prabhas starrer Salaar. Now the reports are coming that the producers are using Salaar as a recoverable expense for any losses incurred by Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2. The sources say that producers are quoting Rs 90 Cr for the rights of KGF 2 for the Telugu states.
Salaar will see the Baahubali star Prabhas play a violent character. When the project was announced in the month of December last year, Prabhas had called Prashanth Neel’ directorial venture Salaar a territory unexplored.
Apart from Salaar, Prabhas will also be seen in Nag Ashwin’s multilingual sci-fi film co-starring Deepika Padukone and Om Raut’ Adipurush, and Radha Krishna Kumar’ Radhe Shyam.
